Frequently Asked Questions

Everything in our office is Automated!

Everything in our practice is automated so you can schedule appointments at your convenience online, 24/7, 365 days a year without ever having to call the office. If you do call, you can leave a message, which we respond to on the same day. If it is a medical emergency, please call 911. If you have any specific questions, you can text or send an email to info@prospinerehab.com and we will respond to all inquiries on the same day. Billing is also done electronically. You will receive invoices online and you can make payments using a secure payment processing system.

Do you accept any insurance?

  • All services in our office are self-pay.

  • We are out of network with all health insurance plans.

  • We have also opted out of Medicare and Medicaid.

  • We do NOT file for Personal Injury or Workman’s Compensation claims.

How long is each appointment?

  • New Patient appointments are typically 45 minutes for examination and treatment on the same day. Subsequent appointments are typically 30 minutes in length. Please wear appropriate clothes for treatment (workout attire is perfect).

What kind of Physical Therapy do you do?

  • Depending on where you go, “Physical Therapy” is not always the same. Some clinics have large spaces dedicated to strength machines and equipment for patients to do exercises. The kind of physical therapy Dr. Park performs is manual therapy focused. While he does educate patients on what exercises to do, patients come to the office for what they cannot do on their own. Manual therapies like myofascial release, massage, and trigger point therapy, assisted stretching and range of motion exercises, Dry Needling, Graston, and other physiotherapy modalities are what we focus on during treatments.

Do you do massage therapy?

  • Yes, on every visit. Your treatment will always include dedicated time for manual therapies including massage, myofascial release, Active Release Techniques, and trigger point therapy. If you are looking for longer massage therapy sessions, we refer to a Licensed Massage Therapist outside of our practice.

Do you adjust everyone?

  • No. Only when it is clinically appropriate, and only with our patients’ consent. Chiropractic adjustments, or spinal manipulations, are an effective treatment for many musculoskeletal conditions, but it is just one of the many tools we use in our treatments.

Do you treat kids?

  • Yes. While we do not treat infants, if your child is able to walk on their own they can be seen. Dr. Park has helped many elementary, middle school, and high school athletes with the proper assessment, diagnosis, and management of sports injuries and other musculoskeletal conditions.

What we don’t do.

  • We do not require all new patients to have x-rays taken, and we do not believe in using pre or post treatment x-rays to measure progress.

  • We do not have any mandatory long-term contracts or pre-payment plans for patients to sign.

  • We do not believe it always takes 10, 20, or 30 treatments over the course of many months to achieve the desired results. We recognize the benefit of other treatments and will not continue to treat our patients if there is no improvement within a reasonable amount of time. Re-evaluations are typically scheduled after 8-10 sessions to assess our patients’ progress.
